Station Work Boosts Trust

A SAFETY initiative during the revamp of Waverley Station has raised more than GBP 15,000 for local children's epilepsy charity The Muir Maxwell Trust.

Colas, the principal contractor undertaking the major renovation work, donated money for each of more than 500 accident-free days on the site.

The money raised will go towards providing lifesaving epilepsy alarms for families.
