Signal Works Geographics

The five-year Framework Agreement covered the development, design, installation, testing and commissioning of small to medium-sized re-signalling schemes and signalling renewal work packages.

Sufficient resources existed to provide an integrated project approach for developing, designing and completing work packages.

A selection of the workbank included:

     • Hither Green Life extension works

     • Major re-cabling of existing signalling, testing and commissioning.

     • Ashford to Minister re-signalling

     • Project management installation, testing and commissioning of colour lights signalling to replace life-expired signalling and introduce AWS throughout the line. Work also included modernising and upgrading various level crossings.
