DC Lines Level A - “Procedure A” – (Southern)
To train staff in the procedure to issuing out safety
documentation in connection with current isolation.
DC Lines Level A – “Procedure B “ – (North London Line)
To train staff in the procedure to issuing out safety
documentation in connection with current isolation.
DC Lines Level B – Testing / Strapping
To train staff to test that the conductor rail is not
energized and to fit short circuiting straps.
DC Lines Level - Switching
To train staff to operate local track isolating switches as
part of the procedure to isolate the conductor rail.
DC Lines Level – Temporary Isolation
To train staff to obtain a temporary isolation of the
conductor rail in accordance with the electrified line
working
instruction.
Machine Switch Out
To train staff to undertake the duties required in order to
obtain a “machine switch out” in accordance with the
electrified lines working instruction.
